About Metro Barber Academy

Metro Barber Academy, located in Enola, Pennsylvania, offers full-time and part-time training for barbers and men’s stylists. Our extensive training includes multicultural haircuts, shaves, facials, eyebrow arching and more.

Owner/Instructor Bryant Mathes acquired his training from the late Master Barber Ramon Price. When Mr. Price passed away, Mr. Mathes purchased the barber shop and established his school in honor of his late teacher. Metropolitan Barber Academy Inc. was established 2013.

About Bryant Mathes

Mr. Mathes studied under Ramon Price and has 25 years of experience cutting hair. He has been instructing others to become barbers for the past nine years.

Program Information

Students interested in becoming barbers must attend 1,250 hours of training for no less than 9 months to earn Pennsylvania Licensure. Cosmetologists interested in becoming barbers must attend 695 hours of training to earn Pennsylvania Licensure. Metro Barber Academy offers full-time and part-time enrollment, with daytime and evening classes available.
